Fall General Meeting and Elections

The purpose of our fall General Meeting is two-fold: 

  1. To approve the 2020 operating and projects budgets

  2. To elect the members of the 2020 Board of Directors.

The meeting agenda and information about the elections are included in the October and November newsletter and posted at the Centre.  Additional information will be emailed to the membership prior to the meeting.

All members are encouraged to attend this important meeting (7:00 pm start time). Dessert and coffee will be served.

2020 EXECUTIVES, DIRECTORS & BOARD COORDINATORS NEEDED
The 2019 one-year term of the current Association Executives, Directors and Board Coordinators ends on 31 December 2019.

EXECUTIVES AND DIRECTORS

The election of the Association Executives and Directors for the 2020 one-year term will take place during the Monday Nov 18th General Meeting. The General Meeting will start at 7:00 pm.

Ordinary Members of the Association (Members residing in Cedar Heights, Blind Bay and Sorrento) are eligible to hold office and can submit their nominations; Current Executives and Directors are eligible for re-election. The Executives and the Directors are Members of the Board of Directors. All eleven positions are open for nominations:

EXECUTIVE DIRECTORS:

President, Board Secretary, Director at Large, Indoor Programs Director, Membership & Communications Director, Vice-President, Treasurer, Director at Large, Centre Director, Outdoor Programs Director.

BOARD COORDINATORS:

Board Coordinators are needed to support the operation of the Association and Centre. Coordinators do not need to attend Board of Directors Meetings. The selection of the 2020 Board Coordinators will take place during the Thursday 28 November Board of Directors Meeting at 9:00 am; this will be a joint meeting for the current Board Members and the 2020 Board Members elect. Selected Board Coordinators will be informed after the Board Meeting.

All Members (Ordinary and Associate) of the Association are eligible to submit their nominations; current Coordinators are eligible for re-selection. All eleven positions are open for nominations: COORDINATORS:

Safety Coordinator, Website Coordinator, Social Media Coordinator, Centre Maintenance Coordinator, Housekeeping Coordinator, Bookkeeping Coordinator, Social Coordinator, Newsletter Coordinator, Volunteers Coordinator, Rentals & Scheduling Coordinator, Information Kiosk Coordinator.
