CHCA Christmas Dinner - Sold Out

  • Cedar Heights 2316 Lakeview Dr, Blind Bay (map)

The planning is well underway for the 2018 Christmas Dinner. The planning committee wanted to let you know there are some changes this year in how we are doing ticket sales:

  • As the Christmas Dinner is always a sold out event, we wanted to make sure that Cedar Heights members had first opportunity to buy tickets. For this reason, ticket sales from November 13 to November 22 will be limited to members only.  If there are tickets left after November 22, then sales will be open to the general public until December 4th. Tickets are $35 for members $50 for non-members.

  • Tables will be pre-assigned when you purchase your tickets. That means that if there is a group who wishes to be seated together, you must purchase ALL your tickets at the same time. This builds on the success and positive feedback on this approach at the Fall Fashion Show.

  • All ticket sales are in person on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1 -3 pm at the Centre. Tickets can be purchased with cash/cheque/debit or credit.

In addition to the wonderful entertainment that always follows our dinner, there will be a DANCE this year. DJ Brian Waddington is busy working on playlists and promises to have everyone out on the dance floor. The dance will start about 8:30 pm.

And many of the favorite features of this event will return:

  • Dinner is being catered by Celine’s Just Desserts. Celine and her crew cook and clean up so we can all just relax and enjoy the evening.

  • The raffle draw for the fabulous gift baskets will occur at the dinner.

  • There will also be door prizes

Christmas Raffle - December 10

Christmas Gourmet Baskets Raffle Fundraiser
Tickets will be 3 for $5.00. We will be raffling off three gourmet baskets with an estimated value of $200.00 to $300.00 each.

The success of this raffle is possible with our members' support with donations of items such as wine, gourmet foods including fish, meats, jams, jellies, oils, dried fruit, nuts, coffee, tea, syrups, wafers, crackers, fancy towels, chocolates, pickles, olives, fancy salt and pepper sets, and the list goes on.

A donation box will be placed at Cedar Heights by the door upstairs beginning November 1 to put your donations in. You can drop your donations off on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1 to 3 p.m. Deadline for donations is December 5 which allows the organizers of this draw to put the baskets together. Each year Cedar Heights is very appreciative of the generosity of members.
