Our new kiosk under construction

The Association operates an Outdoor Information Kiosk from mid-May to end-September to greet members and the public.  The cedar pergola is located in the upper right corner of our parking lot and is easily visible from Cedar Drive.  The Kiosk includes a covered board to display all our brochures, marketing materials and the fees for our various activities. You can even purchase cold drinks (water, pop and juice).

The Kiosk is staffed by volunteer Greeters who provide information about the Association as well as oversee the registration and collection of drop-in fees for our bocce, golf and pickleball programs.

All Association members are encouraged to serve as Greeters for one or more shifts.    If every member of the 525+ Association membership contributes to this effort, each member would only have to do one shift every two years!

Our volunteers make it possible to keep our fees for golf, pickleball and bocce affordable for everyone in our community. The drop-in fees and sale of coupon booklets are used to maintain our outdoor program facilities.

The Information Kiosk is staffed on weekends (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) in May, June and September, and daily from end of June to the end of August.  The staffing runs from 8:00 am to 6:30 pm divided in three shifts per day of 3.5 hours.

Morning:  8:00 am to 11:30 am

Early afternoon: 11:30 am to 3:00 pm

Late afternoon: 3:00 pm to 6:30 pm

An orientation session is provided to all Greeters.   The Kiosk includes amenities such as table with comfortable seating for four, electrical outlets, WiFi Hot Spot, first aid kit, fire extinguisher, air cooler, lights, security camera, clock, a beverage fridge and proximity to washroom.

During each shift, Greeters can select a complimentary cold beverage of their choice from the kiosk concession fridge.

Additionally, for each shift completed, the Greeter's name will be entered in a draw for the choice of a 2019 Association membership, bocce membership, golf membership or pickleball membership.

Since our outdoor programs operate from mid-April to mid-October (subject to the weather), the honor system is used for the payment of drop-in fees when the Kiosk is not staffed.
