why it was needed:

Not enough funds for regular maintenance over the years and a failed irrigation system resulted in fewer players and less revenue.

What we’ve done so far:

Year 1 - repaired stairs and railings

Year 2 - removed trees & rebuilt greens # 1,8 & 9

Year 3 - replaced our irrigation system.

What did it cost?

Much more money than we had, as a new irrigation system is over $50K and new tee boxes are a minimum of $5000. Thanks to generous support from local businesses, a grant from the CSRD, plus over 1000 hours of volunteer labour; the course is steadily improving. However, we still need to rebuild greens 2, 3 & 7.

We have the time, now we just need the money!
