Bocce & Carpet Bowling Sports Day

Angela Shaw and Roger Lambert are hosting Cedar Heights second annual bocce and bowling day on Thursday, August 28th starting at 3 pm followed by a delicious post-sport dinner at 5 pm.  You will be able to sign up for one of field bocce on the golf course, court bocce or carpet bowling. Both the lower and upper levels of the golf course will be available for field bocce. Let us know by e-mail at info@cedarheightscommunity.ca if you can bring a bocce set for the field.  

Please arrive at Cedar Heights between 2:30 and 2:45  so we can have everyone organized to play by 3 pm.  You will be able to create your own teams or your own foursomes if that is your preference.

Dinner will include a variety of drinks (non-alcoholic beer, a Sangria mocktail, San Pellegrino, pop or water), a Cedar Heights-made fresh salad with a home-made salad dressing, two pizza slices and your choice of gelato or sorbetto to finish off the day.  Last year's dessert was the food treat of the year at Cedar Heights.

Attendance is capped at 8 court bocce players, 8 carpet bowlers and 32 field bocce players.  The price is $30 for Cedar Heights members, $35 for non-members.  Go to the Cedar Heights website (www.cedarheightscommunity.ca/events) or drop by the kiosk no later than Sunday, August 24th to sign up.

For those who are current full-year 2025 bocce/carpet bowling group members at Cedar Heights the cost is $25. If you want to attend you will have to sign up in person at the Centre before August 24th to receive the special rate.
